CHARLES GLENN TAYLOR (CHUCK)McALLEN, TX - Charles Glenn Taylor (Chuck) passed away Sunday, May 11, 2003, at McAllen Medical Center. He was born on March 24, 1932, in Pinedale, Wyo. He graduated from Wentworth Military Academy in Missouri, with a degree in engineering and geology. Chuck was a member of American Legion Post #37, McAllen and a member of American Legion China Post #01, Shanghai, China. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Vientiane, Laos and Pinedale, Wyo. He was a 1st Lt. in the U.S. Army, and pursued a career as a helicopter and fixed wing pilot. His career consisted of flying for the U.S. Army Map Service in Iran, and as a civilian contract pilot for the U.S. Government in Laos during the Vietnam War. He also worked in Indonesia, Russia, and Bangladesh as an air transport consultant. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Taylor of Pinedale, Wyo.; sister, Karole Taylor of Edinburg; four sons, Todd Hanna (Maura) of Kansas City, Missouri, Harold Taylor II (Debra) of McAllen, Kelly Taylor of Seattle, Wash., and William Taylor (Elizabeth) of Wyoming, Mich. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Joseph Hanna of Kansas City, Missouri, Amanda and Travis Taylor of McAllen, Brandon John Taylor and Brandon Michael Wagner of Wyoming, Mich. He is preceded in death by his father, Harold A. Taylor. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at Kreidler Funeral Home Inc., on N. 10th St. The family of Charles G. Taylor would like to thank Dr. Ratnam of McAllen and Dr. Callendar of San Antonio, as well as the staff and nurses of McAllen Medical Center. Chuck will be missed by his loving family and numerous friends all over the world. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Legion Post #37, P.O.
